The Genesis

 

From an early age, my essence revealed itself through a keen sensitivity and an restless imagination. However, it was in the challenges of youth that I found my refuge in creativity, transforming vulnerability into a careful eye for detail, texture, and beauty.

Over time, I understood that resilience is the art of transmuting wounds into courage. During this process, I realised that our “inner light” is the ultimate symbol of renewal. I then felt a deep desire to create something that represented this light, an element that reflected our ability to be reborn and illuminate our own paths.

From the union of my story and my passion for lighting design, Domus Concept - Light Studio was born.

Domus Concept transcends the creation of lampshades; each piece born in our atelier is a fragment of a journey. For us, the lampshade is a metaphor for the soul. Each shape, colour, and intensity reflects the diversity of our stories: there are soft and ethereal pieces, like delicate memories, and vibrant ones that emanate energy and strength. There are also those that, when lit, cast dancing shadows, as if life's narratives were silently told on the walls.

We believe that true beauty, the timeless kind, arises from authenticity and the recognition of our scars and achievements. To be who we are, with truth and courage, is the greatest act of freedom.

Today, I know we cannot change the past, but we can choose how it shapes us. Regardless of the path's density, our inner light persists. May the journey we call Life be, above all, a reflection of that clarity.
